Health and Child safety are a serious issue for everyone. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) mandated strict limits on the maximum amount of lead in anything produced for, or used by, children under the age of 12. Effective August 14, 2009 those products can not contain more than 300ppm (parts per million) of lead. On August 14, 2010 that ceiling drops to 100ppm. Kandi's CraftSafe® crystals are Tested and Certified to have 75 ppm or lower.

Kandi’s CraftSafe® crystals have been specifically designed to offer great sparkle without the health concerns of leaded crystal. CraftSafe® crystals are fully compliant with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations. The CraftSafe® line has very low amounts of lead and is safe to use on any children's products or craft projects without fear of lead contamination. The Craftsafe® line
